Paraguay Real Estate
Paraguay, is often mistaken for Uruguay, and vice versa.
Paraguay is the landlocked South American country and home to Asuncion, it’s capital.
Paraguay real estate is much cheaper than Uruguay real estate, and in a lot of cases a lot less developed.
However, real estate and in particular the ranch land in Paraguay got a ton of press and attetion from expats world wide when President George W Bush was rumored to have purchased a very large estancia in Paraguay, on what is reported to be one of the largest fresh water acquifers in the continent.
At this time, I don’t know if there is a multiple listing service available for viewing for sale properties, houses, and apartments. I am checking out casas.com and seeing if it will be possible to create a translation table for producing the listings in English, as well as Spanish. The terrain is mostly grassy plains and wooded hills east of Rio Paraguay; Gran Chaco region west of Rio Paraguay mostly low, marshy plain near the river, and dry forest and thorny scrub elsewhere
